Herb (Bert, to his new friends) and Frank have been guiding Guests through the Canadian Wilderness for over 20 years. Omineca Lodge has been their home base since 1980. The Lodge has been written about in 20 different Magazines around the World. Bert, Frank and Fly-Fishing in Omineca have been the focus of several TV Programs including appearances on National TV in Japan. |
Herb (Bert) Badey
Bert has lived in North Central British Columbia for the last 40 years.
After his family, his greatest love is the Outdoors.
He started out as a hunter with a passion for Photography.
Roaming the wild country of the Rockies, Northern B.C.,
the Northwest Territories and the Yukon for his pleasure and as a Guide.
Herb graduated from taking Super 8 Movies of his Mountain Trips
to 16 mm. He now photographs and produces high quality Video
for promotion of Omineca Wilderness Adventures.
Frank
Frank Badey was born in Kitmat B.C. on the Pacific Ocean and has spent
his life in the Northern Outdoors. A Photographer, Fly Fisherman
and experienced Wilderness Guide, his newest passion is Astronomy
and Night Sky photography. One of his photos of Comet Hale-Bopp
appeared in the January 1998 issue of Sky & Telescope Magazine. Frank is always looking forward to mushroom season.
